Manila Ocean Park

Photobucket

It was my first time to visit the Manila Ocean Park, but it’s not the first that I saw this big aquarium. The very first time that I experience to walk in this big aquarium was the time that I was in Netherlands. This Manila Ocean Parks is an oceanarium in Manila, located behind the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta Park, Manila, Philippines. The park had its soft launch last March 1, 2008. Therefore, this park is still new, in fact when we visit there the last time, some area were still under construction. Probably the next time that hubby and I will visit, and then I’m pretty sure it’s all done already.

Our day in the Ocean Park was great, it’s very interesting to be there, and we enjoyed watching many fish’s, sharks, sting ray etc., It feels so good sitting next to the aquarium, just relaxing and enjoying the moment. I’m happy that finally we have Oceanarium here in our country, before we only saw that in some foreign countries and now we have our own. Only too bad, it’s far from the city where I live, or else I can bring my family and they can see it as well. Anyway, aside in this big aquarium, you can also enjoy the rainforest that they have, exhibition of artificial corals in 48 tanks, features big fish and Eagle-spotted rays in a long tank, features several species of shark and many more.
